The Eagle Award

Thank you for your interest in New Mercies Cafe "Eagle Award".  This is an award that New Mercies Cafe will present to clergy during the month of October which is National Clergy Appreciation Month. They work vigorously, often neglecting personal needs to give us comfort and direction. They do so much, yet they receive so little in return. This year for National Clergy Appreciation Day, we will take time out to acknowledge and celebrate the efforts of your leadership.

Appreciate your pastoral leaders who gave you the Word of God. Take a good look at the way they live, and let their faithfulness instruct you, as well as their truthfulness

5 Clergy will be selected in advance and will  receive this award during our next New Mercies Cafe Saturday October 18, 2008. Clergy must be present to receive this award. We will select 1 clergyman from outside of the TriState Area for recognition.

To submit a clergyman please send an email to newmerciescafe@aol.com and The Eagle Award in the subject title.

In the email please submit the following:

1. Your name and full contact information.
2. The Pastors/Clergy name
3. Church Name & Full Address
4. Years in the Ministry
5. Picture for website
6. In 300 words or less tell us why your pastor or clergyman should be selected.  Once we have all entries in we will post all the clergy submitted and a decision will be made.  All entries must be in by Thursday, September 27, 2008.
