New Mercies Café (NMC), established February 14, 2001, is a “Gospel Experience & Showcase”. NMC is currently located at the Logan Family Life Center Hackensack, NJ (just 8 minutes from the George Washington Bridge). Come get your praise on for Jesus in a setting that provides an opportunity for Christians to come together, relax and just have fun in the Lord! New Mercies Café is also a vehicle for nonbelievers to experience firsthand the love and presence of the Lord and HIS people. We are also a mobile café that can come to your church or event.

CEO and President Elizabeth Black said “We may not be able to get our unsaved friends and loved ones to church on Sunday. However, they will sure nuff come to a party – a party for Jesus! A great many Christians danced before they got saved. Now that we are saved, we have all the more reason to dance, have fun and make a joyful noise! We want to take the arts back for Jesus!”
She hosts NMC with her husband Rick Black. They are members of the Agape Christian Ministries Church, located at 76 Ward Street in Paterson, New Jersey. Their Pastor is the Reverend Dr. James A. Kuykendall.
